Rohypnol is being called the date rape drug because of it's prominence in rape situations. Often these cases aren't reported because the victims may have fragmented memories which aren't clear.
Because of the prominence in the news, many women have emailed Hope for Healing.Org asking if it is possible they have been drugged. To know for sure, a drug specific test has be performed by a hospital lab to see if traces can be found before the drug clears the system.

If you wake up after a party or date feeling as though you may have had sex
do not shower, bathe, comb your hair or change anything about yourself.
Call 911, a rape crisis center or go to the nearest emergency facility.
Remember, sexual assault is never the victim's fault. It doesn't matter if you were drinking, at a party and what you were wearing does not matter. There is help and support available if you think you have been victimized. Don't hesitate to call a rape crisis hotline for a center near you if you need help or support. That's what the hotlines are for.
